Southwest of Tallahasse, the Tom Brown Park Trail Trail is shared by hikers and bikers. Also check out the Red Bug Trail.

To reach the trailhead from Tallahasse, head east on SR 90 to Capital Circle. Turn left and continue for one mile, past the Federal Prison on the right. The park entrance is on the right.

Overall, Tom Brown Park Trail is the 12th most popular hiking trail of all 43 hikes in Florida. Several of the better hiking trails are nearby Tom Brown Park Trail including Munson Hills Loop, Florida National Scenic Trail, Gregory House Loop, Florida National Scenic Trail, Fort Braden Trails and High Bluff Coastal Hiking Trail.
