Hiking The Secret / Blackstone Trail System

Located northeast of Ely in the Superior National Forest, the Secret Trail (8 mi.) loops around a lake and has a great vista. The hiking trailhead is 20 miles east on Fernberg Road from town.

Overall, Secret / Blackstone Trail System is the 9th most popular hiking trail of all 31 hikes in Minnesota.
