Hiking The Highland Forest County Park

Southeast of Syracuse and east of Fabius in Onondaga County, the 2,700 acre Highland Forest County Park has over 20 miles of trails open to hikers, mountain bikers, cross country skiers and horseback riders. This area is known as the Adirondacks of Central New York with rugged forest terrain.

To reach the park from Syracuse, follow US81 south to the Tully exit (Exit 14). Turn left heading through the town of Apulia. Look for Highland Forest County Park signs. The park is located 4 miles east of Fabius.
