Hiking The Turtle River State Park

The 2nd most popular hiking trail in North Dakota.

Near Arvilla in the Turtle River State Park, the North Star Trail is a 10 mile scenic hiking loop through thickly wooded terrain with several stream crossings. The trails in this area tend to be hard packed clay.

Turtle River State Park is located 22 miles west of Grand Forks on ND Highway 2. Park at the Chalet.
