Hiking The Hamburg Reservoir Watershed

The 10th most popular hiking trail in Pennsylvania.

West of Allentown near Hamburg, the Hamburg Reservoir Watershed area has roughly 30 miles of varied terrain. The hiking trails pass through State Game Lands #106.

To reach the hiking trailhead for Hamburg Reservoir Watershed from Allentown, go west on 178 for 15 miles to SR 143. Four access areas are available. Head south on SR 143 to Lenhartsville. Go right at the stop sign to Memorial Road, just before the stone church. Go right and follow to the parking lot.

Overall, Hamburg Reservoir Watershed is the 10th most popular hiking trail of all 32 hikes in Pennsylvania.
