Hiking The Flambeau River State Forest

The 7th most popular hiking trail in Wisconsin.

West of Park Falls in Rusk County, the 90,000 acre Flambeau River State Forest has 14 miles of trails shared by hikers and bikers.

To reach the trailhead from Park Falls, head West on CR E and turn left on CR B. Take CR B south to Hwy 70. Go right on Hwy 70 to the trailhead. To reach the trailhead from Phillips, head West on CR W.

Overall, Flambeau River State Forest is the 7th most popular hiking trail of all 18 hikes in Wisconsin.
