Near Danville south of Chicago, the 5,000 Kickapoo State Park area has over 50 miles of hiking trails through lush green forest and along the crystalline waters of the Middle fork of the Vermilion River. The park is located near the intersection of US57 and US 74.

Overall, Kickapoo State Park is the 2nd most popular hiking trail of all 17 hikes in Illinois.
