Southwest of Lowell in the Nez Perce National Forest, the Meadow Creek Trail (#726) climbs 15 miles up Meadow Creek from the Selway River to Meadow Creek Station cabin. The trail follows the quiet creek bottom through a lush cedar and giant fir forest past cascading waterfalls. Beyond these first four miles, the horse trail heads up the hillside towards the station.
