North of Dallas, the Ray Roberts Lake State Park has 10+ miles of wide, sandy horse trails for side-by-side riding.

To reach the Ray Roberts Lake State Park trailhead from US35, use Exit #478. Head east on FM455 (E Chapman Drive) for 10 miles.

Note: Horses are allowed on the dirt trail in the Isle du Bois Unit.
