Northwest of Providence and Pawtucket, the 627 acre Lincoln Woods State Park has 10 miles of wooded bridle trails around the lake.

To reach the horseback riding trailhead from Providence, take Interstate Rte. 95 North, to Rte. 146 North, to Lincoln Woods State Park exit, follow signs.

Overall, Lincoln Woods State Park is the 1st most popular horse trail of all 2 horseback rides in Rhode Island.
