The Lost Lake Trail (aka Dunraven-Glade) follows the North Fork Of The Big Thompson River on the way to the Lost Falls (7.5 mi) and Lost Lake (10 mi). There is a horse camp 8.4 miles in on the trail. It is called Lost Meadow Camp.

To reach the Dunraven Trailhead from Glen Haven, northeast of Estes Park, go east on CR 43 for 2 miles. Turn left on Dunraven Glade Rd. Follow for 2.75 miles to the trailhead.

Overall, Lost Lake Trail is the 6th most popular horse trail of all 58 horseback rides in Colorado. Several of the better horse trails are nearby Lost Lake Trail including Big Meadows and East Inlet Trail / Adam Falls Trail.
