South of Cleveland, the Cuyahoga Valley National Park has about 20 miles of horseback riding trails.

To reach the trailhead from the intersection of SR 8 and I-76 in Akron, go north on SR 8 for 9 miles. Go west on Steels Corners Rd. for 2.5 miles. Take a right on Haas Rd. and go 1 mile. Veer left onto Wetmore Rd. and travel about 1.5 miles to parking on the right.

Overall, Cuyahoga Valley National Park is the 14th most popular horse trail of all 32 horseback rides in Ohio.
