North of La Grange in southeastern Wisconsin, the 30,000 acre Northern Unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest has a 33 mile Horse-Snowmobile Trail.

To reach the northern trailhead from the intersection on SR 67 and SR 23 in Plymouth, go west on SR 23 for 3 miles. Go right (north) on CR S for 1.5 miles. Park on the left.

Overall, Kettle Moraine State Forest - North is the 3rd most popular horse trail of all 24 horseback rides in Wisconsin.
