North of LeRoy in McLean County, the Moraine View State Park has more than 10 miles of horseback trails, including the Timberline Ridge Trail, in oak-hickory timber stands and gently rolling meadows. Parking, toilets and a warming shelter are available at the trailhead.

The park is located 7 miles north of LeRoy. From I 74, Exit #149 at LeRoy. Follow signs into LeRoy. Turn left on US 150 to Casey General Store. Turn Right on LeRoy-Lexington blacktop (County Hwy. 21). North to sign (Moraine View State Park), next Right. Follow road into park, past main entrance to flagpole.

Overall, Moraine View State Park is the 3rd most popular horse trail of all 22 horseback rides in Illinois.
