Haliburton Forest Horseback Riding

Near West Guilford, the private 50,000 acres Haliburton Forest has over 300 km of trails. It is located just south of Algonquin Provincial Park. . Look out for moose, fox and black bear. Check out the Pass Trail, Lookout Trail and the Normac Trail. There is a $25 user fee. To reach the horseback riding trailhead, follow Route 11 north to Route 118. Head east on Route 118 into West Guilford. Go north on CR7 toward Kennisis Lake for 15 km. The entrance is on the right.
