Northwest of Knoxville, the 2,300 acre City of Norris watershed area has plenty of horseback riding trails open to mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders.

To reach the trailhead from US75, use Exit 122 East. Follow SR441 and park across from the Lenoir Museum. Follow Lower Clear Creek Road to access the trails.

Overall, Norris Watershed is the 6th most popular horse trail of all 21 horseback rides in Tennessee. Several of the better horse trails are nearby Norris Watershed including Panther Creek State Park and Lone Mountain State Forest.
