West of Knoxville and east of Oak Ridge, the Haw Ridge Park has 20 miles of horseback riding trails for mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders. There are steep, technical climbs and plenty of roots and rocks.

To reach the trailhead from US40, head north on SR162 towards Oak Ridge. Beyond Melton Lake, exit on Edgemoor Road (SR170) heading east for 0.7 miles.

Overall, Haw Ridge Park is the 5th most popular horse trail of all 21 horseback rides in Tennessee.
