North of Bedford near Claysburg, the 5,600 acre Blue Knob State Park has miles of rolling horseback trails to explore.

To reach the state park from the PA Turnpike, use Exit 11 in Bedford. Go north on I-99 to Route 869 west (at Osterburg). Follow Route 869 to Pavia, then follow signs through Pavia to park.

Overall, Blue Knob State Park is the 4th most popular horse trail of all 11 horseback rides in Pennsylvania.
