Northeast of Toronto near Newcastle, the 11,000 acre Ganaraska Forest covers the Oak Ridges Morraine and has one of the most extensive horseback riding trail systems in southern Ontario.
To reach the Centre from Oshawa, follow Route 401 east to Route 35/115. Head north to Kirby and then east onto Durham Road for 10 km to Kendal. Look for the road to the Centre on the north side.
Overall, Ganaraska Forest is the 4th most popular horse trail of all 6 horseback rides in Ontario.
