Dolores River Horseback Riding

Northwest Dolores, the 26 mile Dolores River Canyon ride is a very scenic high desert horseback route with five river crossings located in the San Juan Resource Area. Its best ridden in September to mid-October.

Overall, Dolores River is the 12th most popular horse trail of all 66 horseback rides in Colorado.
