Northeast of Tucson and south of Safford, the Round The Mountain trail is a 16 mile horseback ride. The southern trailhead is located on SR366 7 miles southwest of Swift Trail Junction (US191).

Overall, Round The Mountain is the 22nd most popular horse trail of all 49 horseback rides in Arizona. Several of the better horse trails are nearby Round The Mountain including Ash Creek, Cunningham Camp and Clark Corrals.
