East Fork Hayden Creek Trail Horseback Riding

The 13th most popular equestrian trail in Idaho.

South of Salmon and northwest of Leadore in the Leadore Ranger District, the East Fork Hayden Creek Trail (#6181) is a 6.6 mile horseback riding route ranging from 7,400 feet to 8,800. This is a scenic trail along the East Fork of Hayden Creek traveling up and over talus ridge into Mill Lake.

To reach the horseback riding trailhead from SR28 just north of Lemhi, head southwest on Hayden Creek Road for roughly 10 miles. Turn east on FS010 for about 3.3 miles to the trailhead.

Overall, East Fork Hayden Creek Trail is the 13th most popular horse trail of all 56 horseback rides in Idaho.
