Southeast of Salmon near Leadore in the Leadore Ranger District, the Big Timber Creek Trail (#6183.1) is a 10.8 mile horseback riding route ranging from 7,500 feet to 9,700.

To reach the horseback riding trailhead from Leadore, go southwest on Galena Ave. The road will turn into Big Timber Creek Rd. The trail is 12 miles southwest of Leadore.

Overall, Big Timber Creek Bridle Trail is the 10th most popular horse trail of all 56 horseback rides in Idaho.
