The 16th most popular equestrian trail in New York.

North of NYC and southeast of Newburgh, the Clarence Fahnesock State Park has over 70 miles of horseback riding trails. Many trails are shared by hikers, bikers and equestrians. All the trails are blazed with round plastic discs of varying colors, or painted rectangular marks. A strech of the Appalachian Trail passes through the park (no bikes allowed). Camping is permited just east of Canopus Lake off SR301.

Overall, Clarence Fahnesock State Park is the 16th most popular horse trail of all 22 horseback rides in New York.
