East of Three Lakes, the Bailey Lake Equestrian Trail is a 12 mile route through tall red pine forest.

From Three Lakes, take State Highway 32 east 4 miles to Military Road (FR 2178). Turn left and go north 2 miles to Sheltered Valley Road (FR 2182). Turn right and go east 2 miles to (FR 3861B). Turn left into parking area where there is space for approximately 10 vehicles with horse trailers.

Overall, Bailey Lake Equestrian Trail is the 15th most popular horse trail of all 24 horseback rides in Wisconsin.
