Dead Indian Trail Horseback Riding

The 14th most popular equestrian trail in Wyoming.

Near Cody in the Shoshone National Forest, the Dead Indian Trail is a 10 mile route open to horseback riding.

To reach the trailhead from the intersection of US 14A and SR 120 North in Cody, go north on SR 120 for 17 miles. Turn left onto SR 296 and go 20 miles to the Dead Indian Campground. The campground and trail are on the west side of SR 296.

Overall, Dead Indian Trail is the 14th most popular horse trail of all 33 horseback rides in Wyoming.
