South Fork Wood Trail Horseback Riding

The 10th most popular equestrian trail in Wyoming.

Near Cody in the Shoshone National Forest, the South Fork Wood Trail is a 17 mile route open to horseback riding.

To reach the trailhead from Meeteetse, Travel 6 miles southwest on State Highway 290, then 19 miles southwest on Wood River Rd. (County Road 200.) Trail takes off from a signed junction just east of Wood River campground.

Overall, South Fork Wood Trail is the 10th most popular horse trail of all 33 horseback rides in Wyoming.
