Little Big Econ State Forest Horseback Riding

Northeast of Orlando and south of Geneva, the Equestrian Trail is a 10 mile route through the 5,000 acre Little Big Econ State Forest. A portion of the trail is along the Econlockhatchee River. Keep an eye out for river otter, gray fox, deer and bobcat.
To reach the horseback riding trailhead from Geneva, head south on CR426 for 1 mile to Snowhill Road. Head south on Snowhill Road for 2.25 miles. The trailhead is on the west side.
Overall, Little Big Econ State Forest is the 24th most popular horse trail of all 34 horseback rides in Florida. Several of the better horse trails are nearby Little Big Econ State Forest including Seminole State Forest, Lower Wekiva Horse Trail, Kissimmee Praire State Preserve and Highlands Hammock State Park.
