Southwest of Frazier Park in the Los Padres National Forest, the Thorn Point Trail is a 15 mile route heading south from Thorn Meadow Campground to Thorn Point. The campground makes a great base for exploring about 12 additional miles of horseback riding trails.

Overall, Thorn Point Trail is the 39th most popular horse trail of all 81 horseback rides in California. Several of the better horse trails are nearby Thorn Point Trail including Fish Bowl, Reyes Creek Trail and Ortega Horse Trail.
