Clikapudi Trail Horseback Riding

The 55th most popular equestrian trail in California.

On the south shore of Shasta Lake, the Clikapudi Trail is a 6.6 mile trail shared with hikers and mountain bikers.

To reach the horseback riding trailhead from Redding, follow US5 north to the Mountain Gate Blvd. exit. Turn right and follow Old Oregon Trail to Bear Mountain Road. Turn left on Bear Mountain Road and follow down to the Jones Valley Boat Ramp parking lot. Trailheads are located at the SW and SE corners of the lot.

Overall, Clikapudi Trail is the 55th most popular horse trail of all 81 horseback rides in California.
