Avalanche Lake Trail Horseback Riding

The 36th most popular equestrian trail in Colorado.

South of Carbondale and north of Redstone, the Avalanche Lake Trail is a 11 mile route starting near Avalanche Ranch off SR133 and leading up to Avalanche Lake. The horseback riding trailhead is off the east end of Avalanche Road, which is 5 miles north of Redstone.

Overall, Avalanche Lake Trail is the 36th most popular horse trail of all 67 horseback rides in Colorado.
