South of Frisco, the Miners Creek Trail is a 15 mile route past beaver ponds and a meandering creek into the Ten Mile Range.

To reach the trailhead from Frisco, head south on SR9 and turn right onto FS1004. Take a right into the Miners Creek parking area. Continue horseback riding up the road. Stay on the obvious route while climbing through shady pine forest. The route goes vertical and rocky as it ascends the Tenmile Range. The route ends at near Wheeler Junction.

Overall, Miners Creek Trail is the 33rd most popular horse trail of all 66 horseback rides in Colorado.
