Golden Gate Canyon State Park Horseback Riding

Northwest of Denver and Golden, the 12,000 acre Golden Gate Canyon State Park has 25 miles of horseback riding trails through dense forest and aspen-filled meadows.

To reach the state park from Golden, head north on SR93 for 1 mile to Golden Gate Canyon Road. Turn left and continue for 13 miles to the park. Use the Nott Creek Trailhead parking area.

Overall, Golden Gate Canyon State Park is the 37th most popular horse trail of all 67 horseback rides in Colorado.
