Northeast of Meeker, the Marvine Creek Trail is a scenic horseback ride. The route is 23 miles which includes side trips past Slide Lake and up East Marvine Creek Trail.

To reach the Marvine Trailhead from Meeker, head north on SR13. Turn on to CR8 for 34 miles. Turn south on CR12 for 6 miles to the trailhead.
