Southeast of Springfield and north of Garrison, the Swan Creek Trail is a 27 mile route open to horseback riding.

From Garrison, MO, take Hwy 125 north 2 miles to Forest Road 533. Turn right, continue to the bottom of the hill. Cross Swan Creek on foot, on horseback, or on your bike; no motorized vehicles permitted past the parking lot.

Overall, Swan Creek Trail is the 6th most popular horse trail of all 19 horseback rides in Missouri.
