Near Winona, the Blue Ridge Horse Trail is a 10 mile route weaving through hills and hollows of the Ozarks. The Blue Ridge Trail covers a variety of Ozark terrain and can be linked with the Ozark Trail loop at Spring Creek for a total of 22.5 miles.

From Winona, MO, take Hwy 19 south 11 miles to Forest Road 3170. Go .8 miles to Forest Road 3241 about 1.7 miles to Blue Ridge trailhead and parking area. Several other access points are shown on the Doniphan-Eleven Point Forest Visitor Map, or on 7.5-minute topographic maps, available at District Ranger Offices.

Overall, Blue Ridge Trail is the 12th most popular horse trail of all 19 horseback rides in Missouri.
