Mahaulepu Horseback Riding

The 9th most popular equestrian trail in Hawaii.

Southwest of Lihue and east of Poi'pu on Kauai, there are miles of horseback riding trails through the rugged and scenic Maha ulepu area. Horseback riding tours are offered through CJM Country Stables, which is located 1.5 miles east of the Hyatt Resort. They also have a tour down to Haula Beach. There tours are known to be single-file, no-trotting.

Overall, Mahaulepu is the 9th most popular horse trail of all 19 horseback rides in Hawaii. Several of the better horse trails are nearby Mahaulepu including Haeleele Ridge Road Trail, Kauhao Ridge Road, Powerline Trail, Princeville Ranch, Keapana and Esprit De CorpsSilver Falls Ranch.
