Northwest of Walhalla and west of Mountain Rest, the Whetstone Horse Camp provides access to 28 miles of horseback riding trails. The Willis Knob Horse Trail is a 15 mile trail system consisting of several loops. The trail system connects with the 12.5 mile Rocky Gap Horse Trail. These are some of the most scenic trails in the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains and wind across deeply dissected ridges along with descending to the Chattooga River.
