Near Chilliwack, the 2,600 hectare Cultus Lake Provincial Park has a 20km horseback riding trail. The trail is made of compact gravel and shale. It is shared by hikers and mountain bikers.
Cultus Lake Provincial Park is located 11 km southwest of Chilliwack. Access to the park is off Highway 1 at the Yarrow or Sardis exits. It is 16 km to the park entrance from Yarrow and 10 km from Sardis via the Columbia Valley Highway, which bisects the southeast section of the park.
Overall, Cultus Lake Horse Trail is the 2nd most popular horse trail of all 4 horseback rides in British Columbia.
