Gore Range Horse Trail

The 67th most popular equestrian trail in Colorado.

Near Silverthorne in the Dillon Ranger District, the Gore Range Trail runs the north-south length of the Dillon Ranger District portion of the Eagles Nest Wilderness (please respect all regulations within the wilderness). The horseback riding trail is 44.97 miles in length and has various access points. The highest point on the trail is 11,732 ft. Difficulty of this trail ranges from easy to more difficult depending on the section hiked. The access points listed from north to south are: Eaglesmere, Surprise, Brush Creek Rd, Rock Creek Rd., Mesa Cortina, Buffalo Cabin, Meadow Creek, North Tenmile, and Wheeler Flats. Some of these access points may require additional hiking to reach the Gore Range Trail from the trailhead.

Overall, Gore Range Horse Trail is the 67th most popular horse trail of all 67 horseback rides in Colorado.
