North of Spokane near Mead, the Mount Spokane State Park has 100+ miles of trails open to hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. The forested park features stands of old-growth timber and granite rock outcroppings.

To reach the Mount Spokane State Park from Spokane, head north on SR2 to SR206. Follow SR206 for 15 miles to the park entrance.

Overall, Mount Spokane State Park is the 30th most popular horse trail of all 32 horseback rides in Washington.
