Pocahontas State Park Horseback Riding

The 30th most popular equestrian trail in Virginia.

South of Richmond near Chesterfield, the Pocahontas State Park has nine miles of trails open to horseback riding.

To reach the park from Interstate 95 south of Richmond: Take exit 61 onto Route 10 west, then left onto Route 655 (Beach Road). Go about four miles to State Park Road, which is on the right.

Overall, Pocahontas State Park is the 30th most popular horse trail of all 35 horseback rides in Virginia.
