York River State Park Horseback Riding

The 31st most popular equestrian trail in Virginia.

East of Richmond and Toano, the York River State Park has five trails totaling 25 miles open to horseback riding.

To reach the York River State Park from I-64, take the Croaker Exit 231B. Go north on Route 607 (Croaker Rd.) for one mile, then right on Route 606 (Riverview Rd.) about one and a half miles to the park entrance. Take a left turn into the park.

Overall, York River State Park is the 31st most popular horse trail of all 35 horseback rides in Virginia.
