Logandale Trail System Horseback Riding

Northeast of Las Vegas and north of Overton near Logandale, the Logandale Trail System has 50 miles of trails open to horseback riding. The trails are dirt, sand and rock through red rock canyons along the scenic eastern boundary of Valley Of Fire State Park.

To reach the trailhead from Las Vegas, head east on US15 to SR169. Head south on SR169 for 7 miles to Logandale. Turn right on Liston Ave and follow the signs. Last couple of miles are dirt, but okay for any vehicle. Road ends at parking area with restrooms and tables. Approximately an hour and a half from Las Vegas and 45 minutes from Mesquite, Nevada.

Overall, Logandale Trail System is the 19th most popular horse trail of all 24 horseback rides in Nevada. Several of the better horse trails are nearby Logandale Trail System including Bristlecone Pine Horse Trail, Charleston Peak / Northand South Loop, Toiyabe Crest Trail, Pine Creek Trailhead, Pasco Canyon Trail and Monitor Valley TrailRiver Mountain Trail.
