Southeast of Las Vegas and Boulder City in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the Black Canyon Vista horseback riding route is a 8.5 mile round trip through rough terrain with great vistas.

To reach the horseback riding trailhead from Las Vegas, head south on US515 towards Henderson. US515 ends into US93/95 (Boulder Highway). Follow US93 East throug Boulder City and another 4 miles east into Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The ride begins southwest of Bouler City and makes its way to the edge of Black Canyon about five miles south of Hoover Dam.

Overall, Black Canyon Vista is the 23rd most popular horse trail of all 24 horseback rides in Nevada.
