Located in Arizona, the OHV driving in Sonoita is known for two nice O.H.V. trails. The best Sonoita OHV driving based on popularity are considered to be Gardner Canyon OHV, and Santa Rita Backcountry Touring Area.
Southeast of Tucson and northwest of Sonoita, the Gardner Canyon area has 18 miles of OHV routes open to 4WD vehicles. There are numerous side roads to explore, including many difficult ones. Make sure to stay on numbered roads.
North of Sonoita in the Coronado National Forest, Santa Rita Backcountry Touring Area has roads and trails over 130,000 acres open to OHV users. The routes pass through high desert and oak woodland foothills.
