Tarryall OHV Routes - South

The 31st most popular off-highway vehicle trail in Colorado.

Northwest of Lake George in the Pike National Forest, the Tarryall OHV Area has numerous dirt roads open to OHV users.

Note: the following roads are prohibited to unlicensed vehicles: CR39 (aka FS129 or Rock Creek Hills), CR56/CR56.3A (aka FS127 or Lost Park Road), and CR77 (aka Tarryall Road).

To reach the trailhead from Lake George, head northwest on US24 for 1 mile. Turn right heading northwest on CR77 for 20.5 miles.

Note: Colorado residents must register their off-highway vehicle with the Colorado State Parks (303) 866-3437. Non-residents are not required to register in Colorado, if they are registered in their home states. All off-highway vehicles must have an approved muffler and spark arrester. These requirements are subject to change so make sure to contact the Colorado State Parks prior to using your off-highway vehicle.
