In the Owyhee Desert, the Idaho Cenntenial Trail is a 103 mile OHV dirt & gravel jeep road with limited services that passes through the high desert with views of grasslands, red-walled river canyons, and the Santa Rosa Mountains. The majority of the route passes through pristine American West from Jordan Valley to Grand View. Members of several OHV groups place signs from near Murphy Hotsprings (Nevada border) to Idaho 78 near Bruneau.

Drive to the "One Stop" cafe at the junction on the north edge of Bruneau town, on ID-51. Turn left (east) on Hot Springs Rd, and follow it for 7 3/4 miles. When the pavement ends (where you turn right for the Indian Bathtubs hike), continue straight, climbing the good gravel Bruneau-Three Creek Road onto the Owyhee Plateau. After 8 miles of gravel, turn right at the signed road to the Bruneau Canyon Overlook (W1). Trailhead is at the Bruneau Overlook.

From the Bruneau Overlook the route heads about 70 miles to the Nevada border. It is marked with white posts the whole way.

Overall, Idaho Cenntenial Trail is the 8th most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 12 OHV routes in Idaho.
