In the Eagle Mountains of the Flathead National Forest, the Wild Bill ORV Trail is a 5.4 mile route open to OHV routes. There is a gravel parking lot at Upper Dayton and Blacktail trailheads.

To reach the Wild Bill ORV trailhead from the south-side of Lakeside, follow Blacktail Road (FS917). Follow FS917 roughly 12 miles to a well signed turn off for the Wild Bill OHV trail. Take this left and there is a parking lot immediately.

Note: According to the local Ranger District Office, this trail is also known as the Black Tail ORV Trail.

Overall, Wild Bill OHV Trail is the 1st most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 3 OHV routes in Montana.
