West of Portland and east of Tillamook, the Tillamook State Forest has 200 miles of trails open to OHV routes. A great place to start is the Jordan Creek OHV Area. This trailhead is located at milepost 18 of the Wilson River Highway (SR6).

From the Jordan Creek Trailhead, there are 100 miles of trails that crisscross the costal mountains. The routes combine logging roads and narrow trails.

Overall, Jordan Creek OHV Area is the 13th most popular OHV & 4wd jeep trail of all 26 OHV routes in Oregon. Several of the better ohv/4wd trails are nearby Jordan Creek OHV Area including Browns Camp OHV Area, Diamond Mill OHV Area and Trask OHV Area.
